Shrimp Curry
Best of Pakistani & Indian Cooking & Cuisine

Peeled Shrimp: 1 lb.
1 chopped onion, medium
oil or ghee: 3 tbsp.(tablespoons)
Ginger powder: 1 tsp. (teaspoon)
Garlic powder: 1 tsp.
Coriander (cilantro) powder: 2 tsp.
Cumin powder: 2 tsp.
Crushed red pepper: 1 tsp.
Turmeric powder: 1 tsp.
Salt 1 tsp. Or more to taste.
3 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
Wine Vinegar: 2 tsp.

Heat the oil or ghee and fry the onions, ginger and garlic to lightly brown.
Add the spices and fry for 2 more minutes, with stirring.
Add the shrimp and cook for 5 minutes with stirring. Then add tomatoes, wine vinegar and fry
till the sauce is thick.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with Rice Pilaf or other compliments.
